CF2016 is a unique future-oriented event with the aim to facilitate an effective and collaborative roadmapping exercise to shape mid-to-long term research in the computing area (beyond 2018, towards 2030). Since computing is meant to be a main driver for future research, economies and societies, discussion for shaping the future of the area becomes crucial.
With CF2016, European researchers have the opportunity to actively participate in leading this historic process by different form of contribution:
In the end, out of a total of 45 submissions, 11 were accepted as full papers (acceptance rate of ~25% percent).
Out of the remaining 34 submissions, 11 were accepted as position papers (acceptance rate of ~32% percent).
Out of the remaining 23 submissions, 13 were invited to submit posters (acceptance rate of ~56% percent).
Papers and positions papers will be part of the next HOLA CLOUD Roadmap that will be released after the conference.
Cloud Forward is an initiative of the Hola Cloud Project (Effective collaboration for European R&D and Innovation in Software, Services and Cloud computing: Knowledge discovery and Roadmapping).
