Call for Student Posters

The Cloud Forward conference 2016 invites post-graduate students to present their theses and research interests as a poster to a wide audience from academia and industry. It will give you an opportunity to discuss a topic informally with other conference attendees, get feedback and generate helpful connections.

Posters will be peer-reviewed based on excellence, innovation, impact and clarity. Accepted poster papers will published in the electronic proceedings and showcased online in the conference website. The best poster will be recognised with a “Best Student Poster Award”

Best Student Poster Award

A “Best Student Poster Award” will be conferred to the author(s) of a poster presented at the conference, selected by a subset of the International Program Committee. The criteria are:

  1. Excellence
  2. Forward-looking
  3. Potential impact
  4. Ease of understanding

Submissions

The title and abstract – with an illustrative image if appropriate – of original posters, can be submitted to the PC Chairs (see below).  Successful posters will be displayed in the coffee area of the conference where poster authors can discuss their poster with the attendees.

Poster submission: CLOSED
Author notification: 23/09/2016
Camera ready: 18/10/2016 (at the conference)

Attendance and Registration

Poster authors are expected to register for the conference (at the student with poster rate: 100€) and to attend their poster during breaks to stimulate discussions.
